Advocates of Peace and human rights!

On March 15th 2005, the 61st session of the United Nation Commission on Human Rights (UNHCHR) will resume in Geneva.

"The Iranian Human Rights Activist Groups in Europe and North America" hereby invites all those men and women whose rights- as stipulated in the "Universal Declaration of Human Rights" -are violated to unite and participate in this peaceful gathering and by supporting the following requests help the enforcement of the contents of Universal Declaration of Human Rights in Iran.

On March 15, 2005 "The Iranian Human Rights Activist Goups in Europe and North America" will present and emphasize the following points pertaining to the endured violation of Human Rights in Iran:

· Condemnation of the Iranian Regime for the widespread, planned and systematic violation of Human Rights in Iran,
· Nomination of a permanent Special Rapporteur for Iran,
· Establishment of a continuous monitoring system of Human Rights in Iran.

IHRAG believes that once the above mentioned requests are adopted by the United Nations High Commission on Human Rights, it will have a long- lasting impact on the Iranian Human Rights situation and will significantly improve the agonizing situation of human rights in Iran.

So far the following groups have lent their support:
· Families of the current prisoners of the regime,
· Families of the victims of the 1998 chain murders,
· Families of the victims and survivors of the 1980's execution rampage in Iran,
· Families of the Regime's assassination spree outside Iran since 1980.

A comprehensive list of names and supporters will be published in the near future.
