CCVT presents the North American premiere of The Secret Life of Words
On June 26, actress and activist Sarah Polley arrangedfor the North American Premiere of the award-winning film The Secret Life of Words, in which she stars with Academy Award winner Tim Robbins.Among the distinguished guests attending the film screening were Sarah Polley, Arsinee Khanjian, Dr. Abdel Hamid Afana, President of the International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims (IRCT), Anja Jeffrey, Deputy Chief of Mission, Royal Danish Embassy and Peter Mork, Consul General and Trade Commissioner of Denmark.
Actress Sarah Polley discusses her role in the film. She plays Hannah, a refugee from Yugoslavia with a painful past.
Dr. Abdel Hamid Afana, President of the International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims (IRCT), addresses the audience.
